Energy Is Life Local Advocacy (ELLA) is a community-based maternal and family wellness practice focused on improving health outcomes across Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. Founded by a former federal healthcare policy specialist, we meet families exactly where they are—offering wraparound, culturally responsive support that prioritizes dignity, access, and health equity before, during, and after birth.

Health Equity

We actively close the painful distance between what federal healthcare policy promises and what vulnerable families actually receive in the birthing room.

Dignity & Access

Your choices and body autonomy are fiercely protected, backed by full insurance contracting so that finances never block exceptional care.

Community-Centered Care

We recognize that life doesn't stop at delivery. We support the whole foundation—the relationship, the home stability, and the community.

Our Four Pillars of Care

Coordinated support built to protect your birth, your relationship, and your home

Perinatal Care

Continuous, full-spectrum doula support spanning fertility, birth, loss, and postpartum. Accessible at no out-of-pocket cost for eligible Medi-Cal, IEHP, and TRICARE West families.

Behavioral & Relational Health

Somatica-informed intimacy and relationship coaching for individuals and couples. A safe, confidential space to heal postpartum relational strain and rebuild deep emotional connection.

Community Health

Expert benefits navigation and care coordination led by an advocate who knows federal policy. We handle the paperwork to secure the healthcare resources you are legally owed.

Housing & Stability

Transitional housing navigation and stability planning focused on keeping families together. We decode eligibility, manage complex documentation, and connect you to childcare resources.

Meet the Advocate Behind ELLA

Ebony Droste is a DONA-trained full-spectrum doula, Somatica-informed intimacy coach, and former federal maternal health policy architect.

She wrote protections many families rely on, then stepped into the birthing room to close the gaps herself.

Learn how her journey from policy to hands-on care supports your family's entire story while also helping you with Medi-Cal and IEHG coverage.

How It Works

First, reach out confidentially. Share your stage of pregnancy, postpartum, loss, intimacy concerns, or housing needs. Next, we clarify your goals together. We review coverage, map supports, and decide which pillars fit best. Then, care begins. You receive coordinated doula, coaching, navigation, and referrals so your family feels held, not shuffled.

Find Your Support

Ready for steady support instead of piecing it together alone? Explore doula care, intimacy coaching, community health navigation, and housing guidance under one warm, coordinated model. Share what you are facing, and we will walk you through coverage, options, and next steps at your pace.
