Energy Is Life Local Advocacy exists to close the distance between what healthcare policy promises and what families actually receive.
We combine full-spectrum doula care, Somatica-informed intimacy coaching, community health navigation, and housing support so that birth, relationships, and home stability are cared for together.
Our mission is simple and powerful, every family deserves to thrive together with safety, dignity, and real-world advocacy.
Before founding Energy Is Life Local Advocacy, Ebony spent years inside the federal government as a Federal Benefits Advisor and then a Health Insurance Specialist at CMS. She helped author maternal health policy, including a landmark pregnancy Special Enrollment Period proposal. Everything shifted when she supported her grandson's birth at Naval Medical Center Balboa, where staff recognized her gifts and encouraged her to train as a doula.
Ebony's journey now spans birth rooms, counseling sessions, and housing conversations. As a DONA International full-spectrum doula and Somatica-trained intimacy coach, she supports fertility, birth, abortion, loss, and postpartum, while also guiding families through Medi-Cal, TRICARE West, and community resources. This integrated model means one trusted advocate walks with you through medical decisions, relationship shifts, and stability planning, so your family can truly thrive.
